TD REMAN’S WARRANTY AND EXTENDED WARRANTY STATEMENT
TD REMAN’s warranty or extended warranty is to the purchaser of TD REMAN’s CVT products. TD REMAN will replace transmissions units that TD REMAN determines to be defective in materials or workmanship for a period of 18 months or 18,000 miles or extended 36 months or 36,000 miles, whatever may come first from the original date of purchase and mileage.
TD REMAN’s warranty is by vehicle VIN and mileage at the original date of sale and is non-transferable.
All warranty claims must have approval from TD REMAN before any warranty work is performed. No repair or replacement will extend the warranty beyond the original period or mileage.
Defective units must be returned to the TD REMAN facility for inspection within 30 days. Failure to do so will result in a denied warranty claim. To return a failed unit, please call TD REMAN’s service dept. at (954) 543 7724.
Our standard warranty includes a labor rate maximum of $250. Our extended warranty labor allowances will be limited to labor time as determined by Mitchell On-Demand labor replacement guide at a rate of $60 per hour. In addition, labor payments will only be made upon receipt of the defective unit at TD REMAN, after an inspection by TD REMAN and determination that it is covered by this warranty, and not the result of: installation error, engine misfires, mass airflow sensor, ripped air duct hose to the throttle body, crankshaft and cam sensors, ABS, brake lights, brake light switch, brake light assembly, wiring and wrong or defective TCM.
This warranty does NOT cover the following: freight, towing charges, diagnostic time, fluids, car rental, transportation charges. In addition, TD REMAN is not held liable for loss of time, income, use of the vehicle, storage fees, or punitive/incidental damages. In no event shall TD REMAN be liable for any amount of money beyond TD REMAN’s sale price of the transmission to the purchaser plus the appropriate labor allowance determined by Mitchell On-Demand labor guidelines.
TD REMAN reserves the right to charge back the cost of the unit, freight, or labor charges should it be determined that the failure was caused by improper installation, abuse, misuse, lack of maintenance, neglect, accident(s), vandalism, or any other condition not covered by this warranty.
Vehicles that have been modified outside of factory specifications, modified VIN’s, or otherwise misrepresented upon purchase are void of warranty.
TD REMAN reserves the right to request a copy of the original repair order before a warranty claim is authorized.
TD REMAN’s extended warranty is only within the continental United States.
